GLM believes that diversity and inclusion (D&I) is essential for the development of its organizations and sustainable growth of the company. With this in mind, "Respect for diversity" forms an important part of our Internal Environment Improvement Policy.
Based on this policy, we are working to provide opportunities for women and diverse human resources to thrive and to establish a fair evaluation and compensation system.

Supporting Employees to Develop Diverse Career Paths

GLM offers the following forms of support to create an environment in which each employee can choose and develop diverse career paths.

  • Support for obtaining qualifications
  • Career challenge program
  • Support for returning to work after childcare leave
  • Assignments at affiliated companies
  • Promotion of temporary employees to full-time employees

Women’s Active Participation in the Workplace

We are implementing the following measures to promote the active participation of women in the workplace.

  • Career development support and leadership training for women
  • Expanded programs for supporting balance between work and childbirth and childcare
  • Interviews with female managers in the company newsletter, etc.

Active Participation of Employees Nearing Retirement Age

We have established the following programs so that employees with a wealth of experience and knowledge can choose from a variety of work styles regardless of age. (These programs form part of the employment conditions offered by GLM.)

Contract Employee Program

This program allows a full-time employee who has reached retirement age and wishes to continue working to remain at the company as a contract employee until reaching the age of 70.

Outsourcing Program

This program allows highly experienced employees to utilize their high level of expertise at work, such as providing technical guidance to others based on past experience and advising for problem solving.
