Human Rights

GLM considers respect for human rights as a core tenet of its corporate activities and strives to create an environment in which all employees can work happily and with peace of mind, in accordance with international human rights norms such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Anti-Harassment Training

We invite outside speakers to lead anti-harassment training twice a year for both managerial and non-managerial employees. We believe that by raising awareness of harassment through training, we can achieve prevention and early detection, while ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

Harassment Investigations

We conduct harassment investigations twice a year by external lawyers.
If any incidents of harassment are reported, we will conduct a prompt and fair investigation and, if necessary, convene a disciplinary committee to take strict action. We also take every precaution to ensure that whistleblowers are not put at a disadvantage by, for example, ensuring anonymity.

Whistleblower Hotline

We have set up internal and external hotlines to allow employees to consult and report on various types of harassment. In principle, reports and consultations must be made under the employee’s real names, but anonymous reporting is also permitted under certain circumstances.
